For thoses who prefer to do their excercise within water, we offer plenty of opportunities to do so. Both our Aquafit and Aqua Zumba classes are suitable for all ages and fitness levels, allowing you to take things at your own pace, be it full throttle or at a slightly more reserved pace.

Aquafit

Aquafit uses water resistance to improve cardiovascular fitness and muscle tone. Aquafit remains one of our popular classes, for all ages and abilities. Due to to high popularity, spaces are limited and therefore early booking is recommended.

 

Who is it designed for?

Aquafit is a good water based exercise for a whole range of people: youth through to older adults, males and females, athletes, dancers, rehabilitation and accident recovery patients, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, osteoporosis, sports injuries, those with mobility challenges and postnatal mums. An ability to swim is not required to take part.

What can you expect?

Aquafit is a comprehensive mixture of fitness and muscle tone in the comfort of being in water. Water provides buoyancy to the body, and as such reduces strain on joints and muscles. Working at your own pace with our professional instructor encouraging you, this is a great way to get fit.

Aqua Zumba

The Aqua Zumba programme give new meaning to the idea of refreshing workout. Intergrating the Zumba philosophy with traditional aquatic fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blendes it all together into workout thats cardio conditioning, body toning, and most of all exhilarating beyond belief.

 

Who is it designed for?

Aqua Zumba is designed for anyone who can follow instructions and manage being in the water. Unlike regular water aerobics, which are linear exercises from one point to another, Aqua Zumba entails different movements for the verse, chorus and bridge of each song. Working out in the water can be appealing to someone who likes Zumba but doesnt want to get as hot as in the land based classes or needs a low impact option.

What can you expect?
